Electric shower recomendation

Looking for a new electric shower for mum. Which manufacturer to go for?

She's not looking for a power shower, but obviously wants a reasonable flow, needs reliable temperature stablisation, and long-term reliability.

Price as always is a factor but not if it impacts on the above!

Any suggestions?

you say electric shower, so i guess you mean mains water and 6mm-10mm cable?

so this depends on what pipe work you have access to, also the electrics.

If you have a decent supply of water,i.e.pressure, and 10.00mm cable then you should go for a 10.5kw shower. The range is quite wide so get the one with the features and price you like. If less than 10.0mm cable you are limited to 8.5kw or thereabouts. depending on how the cable is run.

If it's good temperature limitation control you're after I'd go for the Mira Advance ATL thermostatic

Mira. http://www.mirashowers.co.uk/home.htm IMO probably the best on the market. They will be more expensive, but you pay for what you get.

A thermostatic shower is a must though if an elderly or infirm person is using it, eliminates the risk of scalding.

Yup - 10mm cable and decent mains pressure.
