Hi,

My GF has an electric shower (triniton?) and strangely the water is only hot if the hot water has been switched on (hot water cylinder system). Surely this is not right as the electric shower should heat its own water up shouldn't it, but it dosent. I thought someone may have switched the pipes round, but also oddly when you change the temp to cold on the electric shower you can get cold water too....

Thanks

Think you are describing a powershower here, which is basically an electric pump which draws water from both hot and cold. This is different to an electric "instantaneous heat" shower which you think it is
