Electric vs oil....costs

hi all sorting the bathroom this yr...with out looking at my latest
Oil price per litre or my electric tariff...what would people think
Is cheaper...9kw electric shower, or oil mains water feed...I've got
Very good water pressure....thanks p.s got oil combi

It depends on what sort of shower you like. A 9kw shower won't give the same performance as your combi, and given that your oil combi will probably already have a hot heatstore, so your combi will probably not have much of a cost.

I always tell people if you've got an oil combi get a good sized electric shower sooner or later

Oil will be considerably cheaper to run than electric, but oil combi boilers aren't always terribly reliable
