I have noticed on several overheated/burntout electrical fittings that the neutral is where it has often occured on (but not always of course).
Is this probably coincidence or is there something in what I have seen?
(Some electrical installation lecturers have said 'it often goes for the neutral' but that doesnt of course make them right.)
