Hi guys,

Setting up the controller for electric under floor heating.

The controller is asking:

"Select the approximate load of the heating element (w) to estimate installation power consumption (kWh)."

I asked the electrician who installed it and he said

"It is 150W per m2 - you have 2 m2 total of 300W"

Should I set the output as 150w or 300w?

I've attached a photo of the settings.

Thanks,

Yes, 300W.

Is that anything to do with the operation of it or just for information?
The kWh figure will be the total amount of electricity units used (and paid for) and irrelevant to any settings.

Brilliant thank you!

It's asks the question when setting up the controller app, not sure why.

And then, come winter, the scare will be augmented by the sinking feeling as you accept that it doesn't actually do anything useful.
