Elements 9 : specifying where a new file is to be saved

I seem to be having problems finding recently saved files.
There seem to be lots of places containing completed picture files.
How do I specify, permanently, where future new files will be saved to.

I don't know if this will solve your problem?
This preference changes the default 'Save as' location between either, where you last saved a file, or where you last opened a file.
