Just sent a small video clip 10Mb as an attachment to various contacts and it was bounced back by all except a contact using Outlook Express. I checked with one of the web-based emails used (hotmail) and it has plenty of storage space - over 1 Gb so perhaps this is not the problem?

In short; why can Outlook Express receive my attachment but various others fail.

Any advice much appreciated

Why not upload it to a hosting site like Photobucket:
http://photobucket.com/
You can upload a max of 5 mins, 100MB of video and then just give your email recipients the link from Photobucket and they can view it at their leisure.

i bet they love you.

as has been said some isps have a limit on file size, its nothing to do with the email client they are using.

Many thanks for your advice - the isp limit is a strange one as one of my friends has the same isp as me but I will check this out.

Thanks again

thats why i said i bet they love you.

its quite common for ISP's to set a limit on bandwidth usage / month, your 10m may be jsut enough to send them over the limit.
