The remarks, which she clearly thought were very clever, were just a little too personal. It won't help her career prospects.
Remarkably, the people who defend her will also be the same people who attack media outlets like Fox news, not for a moment recognising that her opening statement was about as Fox Newsish as you can get, as she sits there telling the stupid left wing sheep exactly what they should be thinking.

Why is she being singled out? Everyone at the BBC has the same loony-left views as her.

Can someone put a link up please.. I can't find anything that is too wrong with what she has said. Maybe I'm looking at the wrong clip.

Bearing in mind Newsnight is there to report the news, the BBC has been forced to issue an apology for a lack of 'impartiality', and will likely face an OFCOM investigation.

Outraged from Cornwall.

John Craven the well known Marxist, Sooty & Sweep were followers of Che Guevara, Bernard Cribbens stories on Jackanory had subtle Stalinist mantras

The BBC said, quite categorically, that if EM had said, "as our report demonstrates.......", prior to her comment, her comment would have been perfectly acceptable.

What nuts watch Newsnight for straight info ? It's meant to be as it is. Bit like Vine on the radio but he is far worse. ;) If anyone with a sensible view phones them they are highly unlikely to get on.

Worse still are programs that have groups of the public on. There is no saying how people are selected and groups that all agree with each other would give rather boring results.

All sources get up to the same sort of thing. Emily could have avoided problems by simply reporting what seems to be fact in a different way. Silly opening words. People according to MP's are upset as they have myriads of emails saying so. It could have been reported that way. The beeb may have had them as well. Some of the other points she made are valid.

LOL From Cummins himself people who voted they way he wanted are dumb - it can be read that way. Seems 3% less of outers wanted in. Seems a remarkable split between the 2 types mentioned. Anyone who believes the split is down to that is nuts - or dumb.

The Beeb are trying to make out that she is just an isolated case.
This sense of entitlement among its presenters to use the BBC as a platform to air their own prejudices is rife.

The above is another example of the problem of bias within the BBC.

The BBC showed the same bias towards Jeremy Corbyn as well,
