Emulsion blistering

Maybe polished plaster and messed about with the pva when it was re plastered :confused: . If it wasn`t only 20 years - I`d suggest old distemper :idea: ..Try in the plasterers forum

What is old paint? I've heard that if you put matton top of certain paints this can happen, try a bit of vinyl silk on a small spot.
