Hi, the person who sold our flat obviously watched to many of these "paint your house white before you sell it" programs and went wild with a tin of white emulsion. unfortunetly, they covered the doors and door frames in the process.
I would like to get a nice gloss finish on them what should I do?

in p & d they say "this job is 90% preperation and 10% insperation"

what i am trying to say is the best way to do it would be to strip the everything back to bare wood (assuming it is wood)

this way you start with a good base, so end up with a marvelous job

but if you skimp on the base you will get a not nice job.

bit like building a house, its foundations, do you build it on sand or rock
