Is it OK to use emulsion paint on woodwork and doors? I'm thinking of painting walls and doors the same colour and it would be easier than buying separate paint. Are there any disadvantages? Will it peel or crack? Will there be a problem using oil paint over the woodwork again in the future?

There are certain individuals who would use emulsion on woodwork but thats not what its for. Its not the same as acrylic undercoat and can flake off. You can gloss over it but, the gloss is only as good as the undercoat it sits on .

Yep...and its not very durable, nor will it wipe clean easy
