End feed fitting slightly over heated

If soldering an end feed tee and by the time you get to the last leg of the tee the fitting is slightly over heating is it ok to paint the leg of the tee in flux so solder will run again?
 
Thanks think it happen as had the heat on too long the solder looks to have run perfectly after I painted the fitting with flux and re-applied solder
 
I coat the solder in flux and offer up to the joint, the flux should still be contained within the fitting so the solder should run in, flux on the solder just gives it a start.
