Hi I have just had a pyronix wireless enforcer alarm system installed. The wireless sounder has twin flashing leds but they are really weak and slow. I think that strong flashing leds are a good deterrent - should I ask the installer to place in battery powered leds you can get off fleabay or alternatively to get the sounder hardwired? If I get the sounder hardwired, do I need to connect it to the control panel downstairs or can I somehow just power it to something close by (sorry I know nothing about electrics). I would appreciate it if someone could help! many thanks

It can be powered locally eg 12v power supply in loft ...the LEDs are not normally enabled due to power drain from battery...

Thanks sparkymarka - do you think that after hardwiring, the leds will be stronger and more frequent than they are at the moment using the battery?
thanks

To be honest no it depends on three things height, bell box colour and how dark it is as I also use the hardwired delta bell, blue back plates are not as good as clear or red for the led to shine out of and the height can make it hard to see the LEDs .
