Sorry, you need to have a diagnostic check/readout done which will tell you the fault. Shop around for a price ( about £25ish ).

;)

Is it a Diesel?
Could it be the cat. regeneration process?
I have heard that on some vehicles the engine management will adjust it's parameters every so often to blow all the cobwebs and soot out of the cat.
In effect it is doing the equivalent of an 'Italian tune up'
A few miles of motorway driving helps the process along.

cheers folks will look into both and see what happens?? it does seem to lose power now and then like the turbo faulty??? yes it is a diesel and if its the cat i've heard they are expensive???
