What ho one and all,

I have just taken possession of a maisonette that has (I believe) a Scantronic 9100 alarm beside the front door. The model is based upon internet searching until I found an image that looks right.

It still works fine but I would like to replace the battery. Have found the manual but am uncertain as to how to enter engineer mode. One video says 7890 and open the panel. The pdf manual suggests my number followed by 0 + enter + 7890.

Which is correct?

I assume that return to normal service, close lid, then 99 + enter?

Many thanks and toodle pip

On the 9100 its 0 + enter + code. But the code may have been changed over the years

Thanks very much. Do I assume that your use of the word 'code' is my code or the engineer code (7890)?

The engineer code. But it is likely to have been changed from 7890
