We are about to purchase an engineered wood floor for living room/hall.
We have looked at a few floors in showroom and seem to be leaning towards Parador. I have used Kahrs flooring previously as well and quite liked the look of it.
One thing that has surprised me is that when you go for a less rustic looking floor in oak - ie less knotting & a more even color range - the price is around £50m2 using Parador or Kahrs. I can understand that a more even grading would cost more though - we do want a wideplank, beveled look.
We looked a a similar product by Haro and on a couple of sample boards lifted from the pack - there was knotting so prominent it was an actual hole through to the lower planks.
Has anyone purchased and installed these companies products and can offer some insight into these vs other manufacturers.
