I'm looking to replace the cheap laminate flooring that we have throughout the ground floor, and have been perusing the internet for a couple of weeks to find a nice replacement.
I've Worked out that the area is approx 28 square metres which will give me a budget of around £17/Square M
I've found a few sites that sell 'solid oak' flooring for around £20 which I may stretch to if it is worth the extra money.
Just wanted some opinions as to whether it is worth going for, or just to use the 'quick step' engineered type.
The sub floor is joists/boards and looks like it may need levelling
