I have removed some fitted units in my living room and the engineered wood flooring was fitted up to the units rather than underneath them. I am now left with a gap that i need to fix. It appears that the floor has been glued together in the T&G. I'm assuming the pieces will be impossible to seperate in order for me to lay some new pieces of flooring. What are my options? Is it a case of using a circular saw to saw down to the thickness of the wood and create a new straight line to start a new row of flooring to fill the gap?

Rip down about 6-8mm away from joint which should expose the t&g then carefully remove the last part of the T or G with a chisel which will help with securing new t&g to existing .
