I've avoided swans ever since my mum informed me that 'they could break your arm with one of those wings', I assume most people avoid them because I've yet to meet someone who's had their arm broken by a swan.

same here, never had my arm broken by one as I also avoid them like the plague. It just isn't worth the risk in my opinion
