Tongue and ox tail is rapidly dissapearing too along with tripe.

In the same way that trad butchers sell you a chicken with giblets whereas the supermarkets (who used to do the same) don't anymore.

I remember my mother used to cook the giblets in the chicken then served it up as a soup for starters.
 
You gotta fight that!

I was originally "not allowed" to commentate on football matches as I knew FA (see what I did there?) about football.
But I fought back verbally and said I had just as much right as anybody to make comment on anything I was watching.
I told the people complaining that they were not actors but they complained about people on the telly doing "shoite acting". Soon shut them up.

BTW, the bar above which it was deemed I knew something about football was "Can you name 10 footballers?".

This was set by both Mrs S and My eldest son (when he was around 14). It was quite funny him checking with Mrs S if Ian Rush was a footballer.....

Now who knows more about football, laddie??

Super market ready made gravy in a pot. Its easy as she just heats it up in a pan
that's a good idea.

Do you eat rice pudding like the ready to eat ones?

baby food but I like it... you can eat it cold or warm... easy to make too when you're home alone
