English Cooking

Tom Kerridge started a campaign a few years back to bring trad. English fare up-to-date - "Tom Kerridge Cooks Britain", if y'all interested in how to cook a real Sunday Roast without inducing a coronary. I tend to stick with a roast chicken, since going gluten-free. The mere thought of eating another suet pudding would be fatal.

I like Tom Kerridge, he is a real chef in my opinion.

that sounds like a steak & kidney pudding
Nothing like it mate. It was like a swiss roll but with corned beef and onions. The suet pudding was white and stodgy from being steamed and stuck to your ribs but damn it was nice.

Yes same as a steak & kidney pudding then, white suet pudding soggy and stodgy.

we used to have ice cream in a similar thing, rolled up suet in a swiss roll style filled with strawberrys and ice cream
