I liked them because it was a treat. It was fruit and fibre cereal for breakfast most days to keep you regular and all that.

I actually got accused of that by someone the other week. I better explain as it doesnt sound too good does it. I was working on a wall pack street light attached to someones house. He came out ranting at me that his daughter was in bed and the light was next to her bedroom window. I said that she wasn't in bed at all as she had just got out of the shower.

It'll be like Laars and Sophie all over again

It was the go to for my Mum when she'd run out of filling ideas and couldn't be assed. Can't blame her tbh. I had left over bol sandwiches from spaghetti bolognese find its way into a school packed lunch a few times... actually pretty tasty, but better hot

Mine was the same. Mum and dad also liked tripe and pigs trotters
but I suppose it was what they got used to during rationing.
