Entrance Steps to be taken care off? What would be the best option?

Greetings,


As per picture attached, we have Communal Steps to the block of flat that we have, and having just had the building repainted, we would like to enhance the entrance steps to improve the aesthetic of the building.

As you can see on pictures, steps have been repaired with a patch of concrete I believe.

The current surface is a layer of Asphalt that has been applied to the Entrance Steps and the edge.


Question:

What are your suggestions?

· Paving / Tiling ?

· Re-asphalt ?

· Resin Bound ?

· Steps to be painted with special paint?

what do you think of these? any good?

The filler and the anti slip version is what I would use. The narrower concrete steps I would powerwash

Thanks Nige F for your feedback. My question have you had personal experience with that brand and product? Any specific reason you are recommending Watco product rather than the other one?

I covered a set of metal steps with Watco anti slip at an hotel - lasted well with regular use - outside steps down to the kitchen.

Characteristic say it is mid gloss - ideally need something Mat rather than gloss and satin I believe (more research to be done on that topic)

How did it look like once applied? was that a bright gloss?
