epdm roofing

I have started to refurb the outlaws bath room and have discovered the flatroof is shot. I have no problems replacing all the rotten wood and fitting EPDM doesn't sound too tricky either. There is one question though and that is in the one corner of the roof next doors extension touches and their felt has been bonded onto my side. When I relay mine with EPDM how do I ensure the seal between the two is good? ie felt onto EPDM? Are there any tar type products that I can pour on cold to seal the joint?

There is a proper epdm to felt jointing strip that you can buy. I've forgotten what its called though.

Probably a EPDM flashing tape? I'm unsure if it sticks/bonds to felt tho?
