Changed a CU today TNCS.
Upgraded main CPC to 16mm.
Main equipotential bonding was 6mm, replaced gas bonding with 10mm.
Water pipe is 6mm, here were the problem lies...
The whole water pipe is lead, it stops just short of the sink right at the back of the house were a 1ft (if that) 15mm copper pipe leads to the stoptap...
The 6mm bonding is clamped onto the lead pipe under the floorboards...
My OSG does not mention lead pipes and to be honest im not sure what the score is regarding them thats why im asking, I asked a mate and he said i have to bond the copper by the sink, but why did the previous installer bond the lead?

you should not bond lead with a bonding clamp, the metal is too soft.

if you are going to bond to the lead pipe then you need to solder it
