Error code 71 zanussi doesn't stay hot

hi, we have zdc37200w pnc 91609421908. We think we have enter service mode and turned the dial to 7 or 75 to get the error code 7 red and 1 green. Looking at the web it says nct sensor. Does this sound about right? Where is it located and can it be checked? How much for a part?

Error code 71 is the thermistor located on the ducting. To get to it and test it you need to remove the R/H side panel looking at the machine from the front.

we have removed the sensor and checked resistance, it's under 1k omhs do you think it needs replacing, do you think we got correct error code by moving it to 75minss

If 75 mins. is the 10th position then thats where fault code is stored.
