Hi all

I am looking to connect an Ethernet call me from my WiFi extender in to a tv box. I bought the RJ45 Ethernet cable, which fits fine in to the WiFi extender, but won’t fit in to the tv box.

Can anyone advise which Ethernet I need for this please? It seems that the port is a lot smaller than the white WiFi box!

Thanks

the Ethernet cable isn’t clicking in like before, does this mean it won’t work?

Unfortunately neither device in your picture has lights on, so no easy way to tell. An RJ45 plug will be fine even if it doesn't click, but if didn't click then it probably hasn't latched and will fall out more easily.
