EU calling for respect.

did you not see how reform wiped the floor with labour and tories in the recent council elections
No, I didn't.

I think you would.

A lot of organised crime is funded by people trafficking plus the cost on infrastructure and services.
Provide a safe, secure an accessible method for claiming asylum and the people traffickers will mostly lose their business model.
Sure it's probable that failed asylum seekers wii still seek and use the services of people traffickers. But now they will be more easily identified.

Yes, more safe routes and offshore processing. No need to shoot at any boats if there are none.

Between your post and 1 am when I followed you to bed-:LOL: so to speak.

That's pretty quick. Somebody was on the ball!!

TBH, it didn't seem that different to other posts I have read.

Affordable housing is a biggie : the house that was affordable on a single salary is now unachievable on two.
The thing that helped the boomer become "wealthy" conversely made the younger generation poorer, and more disillusioned.

I couldn't afford my first house without my wife's salary, nor could any of my friends. From memory the interest rates at the time were probably around 8%, this would have been late 1977 not long before they peaked at 15%.
I'm not suggesting it was harder than it is for todays youngsters, just that it wasn't as easy as some like to imagine.
This was outskirts of London btw.

How did Brexit do that?
What happens when a country imposes economic sanctions on itself?

A = the economy suffers.

Which demographic suffers the most in a poor economy?

A = the poorest in the most deprived areas

You said this before, and I responded before. And you agreed.

I think I said that your reasons were probably part of it. I don't think anyone really knows the whole cause. Yet. It feels like we are in the middle of something really big. Is it a 1970s style malaise. Or a 1930s style sh!tfest.

You seem confused.
Tesla has had a big correction and it was and still is massively over capitalised.

2 things can both be true at the same time.

I guess you are still smarting from losing your silly claim that Border force can drop migrants at a French port whenever they feel like it.

Yeah, it’s the rise of right wing populism: social media means their lies reaches an easily manipulated audience.

Here is how it works:

Let’s say a person hears Suella Braverman saying “there’s an invasion on our shores”…..that person then goes to YouTube and does a search “invasion of migrants in small boats”. What sort you tube videos will be returned in the search

Right wing populists have internet algorithms radicalising people for them.

When houses became investments rather than homes was a major factor.

Not solely, but very significant.
