Off to gay Paris on the eurostar train, taking the grandkids (3yrs and 6yrs) anyone been, done that? any advice? I'm told you can request seats in the on-board family areas (coaches 1 and 18 ), which are not only near the baby changing facilities, but also offer more space for kids to caper and cavort, or you can pay more for "Leisure Select" anyone done this? is it worth it? whats the scores george doors?

I did a three day break in paris this time last year via Eurostar. Had a brill time. Didn't take up the leisure select option, but journey was great, spent most of the time standing in the buffet car watching the countryside go by. Seats were fine and comfortable.

Strangely enough I don't normally suffer motion sickness but had a touch of it on the journey out. Might be worth dosing the kids up with Quells or simililar.

You will love it.

i did it a few years ago, and remember being near the end of the train, and it stops aside a wall. We had to battle through the public with buggy and baby to get to a door... no fun !

done it! now in Paris, the train was not nice, no leg room and all seats faceing backwards, just had a lovely meal so worth it in the end  Got I hr of broadband for £7, off to check me mail
