I was just wondering if something like this was feasible.

For a historic property or one in a conservation area, the big external EV charging ports tend to be less than discreet. I personally don't like the aesthetics of many. I appreciate there are some "designer ones" that cater for this but they also tend to be expensive.

I was wondering if it was possible to have the required unit installed internally in a discreet location, and then wired up to a discreet external socket such as this:

Does anyone know if that is an option?

No. That is a cable mount socket, not intended for a fixed installation. It's also a Type 1, which most vehicles don't use.

The type which are intended for fixed use are not a standalone item, they are a component for use in a piece of equipment, such as https://uk.farnell.com/phoenix-cont...0mm-32a-480v/dp/3285175?st=iec 62196-2 type 2

Even if a suitable enclosure was found, there is then the problem of dismantling another charge point, modifying it and connecting another socket to it, all of which will totally void any original design, warranty and safety considerations.

If you want a small size charge point and the inconvenience of a socket (as in bring your own cable), they already exist.
