Evening concrete yard

My mums concrete yard is uneven. The diagram below attempts to portray an idea of the situation. The blue arrow indicates water flow and the black lines arent so much cracks as ridges in the concrete. I dont know why they are there but have been since we moved in about 15 years ago. Eventually, mum would like the area covered with flat pebbles, but first it might be smart to eliminate this drainage problem. Since I dont have any experience in this area, what might be the best option, considering that the area is about 15 square meters? Would self-leveling concrete do the trick? Does it need to be split up into smaller areas to avoid cracking? Will the new concrete bind to the concrete below okay?

is the water flow puddles, when it rains? Or do you mean water comes up through the cracks?

Where do you want the water to drain to?

Thanks for your response! I'm sorry for the delay in my reply (the forum was having problems last time I was here and I thought this post was lost).

The problem is water collecting when it rains. I guess I would like the water to drain to the other side of the wall/door. How can such an inclination be ensured?

Don't add to it, remove the bit you don't need. An angle grinder or a stihl saw (petrol driven concrete cutting saw) could be used to cut drainage channels so that the water flows away from those low points you are on about.

If it will be covered in pebbles anyway, you won't see the cuts.
