No, because it turned out later that the company was scheming to make most of the new staff redundant once we'd completed work on the product line that they'd bought as part of the deal.

I think a lot depends on who you've been TUPE'd to? Has you department been "out sourced"?
In my experience (worked with the same people before and after) the only thing that changed was the goal posts. One day it's all about the standard of work, the next day it's about how much it costs

All the places where i have seen " tupe" in action including mine follow a common theme , you move from a good company to a pile of sh*t , tupe was invented to get rid of workers cheaply and is doing a good job and it seem to be happening more and more .
