My son said it didn’t work. He was right.
Had it about 10 years and doesn’t do a lot of work. Wife used to work at B&Q and got it for £5 as end of range (200ish mm blade so it is a useful beast).
Fuse OK, lead OK, took it apart and the DP switch neutral is staying open circuit. Short term fix to bypass that side of switch so it s now a single pole switch. I will look for a replacement switch as it doesn’t appear to come apart.
Is by-passing the neutral side of the switch a no-no or is it safe to use?
