Evolution Rage 3 Chop Saw Broken

Hiya all
Has anyone repaired one of these themselves.
Have had mine about three years and it has been used a lot.
Last night the safety guard thingy stopped lifting up, rendering the machine useless.
The guard appears to be lifted by some rather unfit for purpose looking springy thingy, also two screws fell out when I turned it over to investigate and I have no idea where they came from.

Same thing happened to mine. I worked it out and got it back together again. Don't remember how though.

i suspect the screws held a plate that holds everything in line
ikf you dont get an answer i suspect kind soul on you tube will have had the same problem

There are drawings available to show where the screws go.

Have fixed it. Took blade off and found the problem straight away. The arm which connects to the safety cover had become detached hence the two screws which fell out.
Note to self: Service your power tools more often.!
