Quick question on the MIN function.

I have many rows of data and need to find the minimum in each row. Rather than doing the MIN function separately for each line, is there a way of setting it up so that you can get the minimum on each line by just scroling down?

If an argument is an array or reference, only numbers in that array or reference are used. Empty cells, logical values, or text in the array or reference are ignored.

So =MIN(a1:z1) returns minimum value in non empty cells across row 1 columns a to z or whatever you require within the confines of the spreadsheet being usefully beyond the number of columns you have planned to utilise.
Drag/copy that formula down it's column, using the 'Fill Handle' to the number of rows you wish to assess.

Not a lengthy task, only type the formula once.
If no spare column available for the formula just insert one via mouse 'right click' and from context menu 'Insert' choose 'Entire Column', add formula and copy down as required.

Maybe this http://office.microsoft.com/en-gb/v...848872.aspx?CTT=5&origin=HA010230841&client=1 could help.
