I'm installing a shower in the corner of my existing bathroom and plan to use acrylic wall panels which I believe are 3-5mm thick. The room is currently tiled floor to ceiling with standard 4" square white tiles. I've started to remove these and they're coming off quite easily. The walls behind are brick, plastered and skimmed, and then tiled directly onto the plaster.
