Expansion Valve

Hello All,

My mum is having trouble with her saunier duval combi boiler.
Got a lad out yesterday who got it fixed but it went again today, he has just been back out and got it running.
He said if it goes off again it might be the "expansion valve" he was talking with manufacturers about this on phone for a second opinion.

Just a few things really,
Roughly how long does it take to do job?
Again roughly how much is the part?
And once again roughly how much will it cost to fix?
