Hi all
I have a grant combi 90 with a faulty expansion vessel (going to be fixed by the weekend hopefully!) just wondered if someone could explaing the expansion vessel. I thought I understood what it does, but after leaving the heating off and just using the boiler for hot water, the boiler doesn't seem to lose pressure?
Does the hot water side of things not use the expansion vessel? Or is it because the central heating causes more pressure than heating the DHW and causes the PRV to open at 2.5 bar, thus losing pressure?
I'm learning SLOWLY!!!
