I have on my mains water inlet to a gas boiler an expansion vessel, a white VAREM, There is a twistable knob on the top says 6 Bar and an arrow for twisting.

I think the pressure has gone from the unit because the PV on the boiler hot water storage opens just after the water starts to warm up from cold.

I 've read that you can re pump them up but I can't see any valve, images included (hopefully) from my album

Thanks

Are you sure that isn't the inlet to an unvented hot water storage cylinder??

More pics please if you aren't sure.

Your probably right, I have a Baxi combi WM boiler...
Even at cold when the water is turned on at the mains the PV spews loads of water out, I'm not sure what the problem is I thought it might be this

I have snapped the valve as read in the FAQ but it's to much water to be something trapped in the valve seat

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

A bit more information I've just run all the warm water out of the storage tank and turn of the boiler, so it's completely full of cold water the PV has closed and no water is coming out.

The Expansion vessel was making a girgling noise when the water was running through if that helps ?

As soon as I turn the hot water on, and the storage tank gets to about 20C it starts to leak again.
