exposed concrete - fill or seal?

Hello all, I've just chipped away the flags/paving stones that the previous owner had in place under the patio, to create a neatish edge for the new grass to be laid up to.

I'm now left with exposed concrete from where the paving stones were chipped away (see photos) - are these edges ok to be left exposed to the elements or am I best to seal them with something or fill in with concrete?
