Extend an existing brick lean to

Hi

I currently have ab existing brick lean to with slate roof and a window and French doors. I would like to extend it by about 5 feet in order to be able to create a separate utility room.

Is it possible to knock down the brick wall to the side of the lean to and extend the roof?
