extending cooker wiring

Im fitting a new cooker but in another area of kitchen, i need to extend cable run to new cooker 5(five) metres approx. do i need to run new cable from fuse box or can i fit some form of junction box from original cable run??? many thanks

Run a new cable. No matter what people tell you, or what some DIY shops will sell, there is no substitude for a single cable run of the correct size.
