Hi can anyone tell me if its possible to extend the length of satelite cable and if so whats is the best connectors to use .As im moving the tv to a different part of the room .

Thanks

hi jonz

very simply pop along to band q they do pre made lengths with f connectors fitted all you need is a fconnector through joint.which they also sell

Here's one for you: On a Sky to Sky+ upgrade, why does the engineer take out the old signal cable, then run shotgun cable in? Why not just run another length of single cable?

if he's up there then why not..?

it reduces the posibility of one cable failing before the other with age..

also if he has to clip it then he probably has clips for the shotgun cable

basically its two coax cables joined together by a thin moulding.

its called shotgun cable because the arrangement resembles that of a double barreled shotgun.

I used to work for sky and we were told it was customers choice just another cable means another hole . When extending a cable be carefull as it can reduce signal quality use F conectors and a barrel conector to join them
