Hi

We have knocked a wall down and need to join a triple 2 way switch.

Now the issue is we have this timber which we are happy to just make good with plasterboard and have a slight drop between the two rooms. We don't think it's worth the hassle involved to make it flat.

The trouble is I need to extend the cable to move the switch.

Now in an ideal world MF Wago in a box, trouble is that little drop will now be quite big.

Obviously Wagos aren't MF on their own.

Other than that it's a crimp and heatshrink but not sure I like that idea.

Otherwise it's ripping the bedroom floor up which we really don't want to, as then we can safely use a Wago box.

Unless anyone has any better ideas?

Soldered and heatshrink?
