Extension colour bricks

Hi our existing house is red common bricks but is rendered white

We are building an extension but hoping to use these colour bricks (see pic). Do you need special approval for this or i

Just put it on the application that a particular colour facing brick will be used for a given elevation. Same if you want render/cladding etc, just make sure the plans reflect it
 
Permitted Development required the extension material to be of similar appearance to the house material - ie rendered and painted white or something similar to that.
