Extension project

Hi i'm new here!

I have a project (university) to build a one storey extension onto a house.
I want to use WBP Plywood on the external walls, but can't think of any cladding to put on top that is environmentally good, cheap and good looking. I understand that I might not be able to find something will all of those properties.

Does anyone have any ideas? Apart from treated wood products?
