Hi,

I'm looking to build an extension on the back of a 1950s house. The house has Rosemary tiles which need 60/m2 to cover. The extension needs a low pitch roof on it aswell (<20degrees) and my architect has recommended using Sandtoft 20/20.

In this case can I use Sandtoft 20/20 throughout as the tile price is comparable with Rosemary, but obviously material and labour costs will be a lot less?

Planning permission says the tiles must match the type, size, colour and texture. Obviously the Sandtoft tiles won't comply with this but I no choice because of the falls.
