Hi,

The exterior light at my garage has been wired from an FCU, spurred from a light switch in the garage. Only thing is, it's wired from the 2nd switch of a two way switch so depending on which switch i used in the garage last it will only work sometimes.

I'm going to change this and think I should probably change the whole cable to the outside as it's just twin and earth exposed to the elements.

What should I replace the cable with? armoured stuff, twin and earth in conduit or something else? there's no risk of damage, only exposure to the weather.

Tough Rubber Sheathed flex will be fine - make the outside run as short as possible.

nice one cheers, I'll check that out.

The outside run is only going to be about 6 to 12 inches max depending on how i end up routing the cables
