Hello To all. I have spent a few days udercoating the outside wood of my home. i know i need to rub it over before a second undercoat. After another sanding (fine) i want to give it the gloss coating, (one of 2). My question is.... How long can I leave the undercoat exposed to the elements, before I must get the top coat applied. I have run out of time I estimate I may not get top coat on till 4-6 Weeks its July in uk.

No definitive answer really, probably a month or two. The main thing is to ensure it's dry when you gloss it and forget the 2 coats of gloss... no point really.
Another way of doing something like this would be to undercoat, let's say a couple of windows and gloss them the next day rather than leaving everything unfinished or do 1 side of a house..gloss it, then move onto next side.
