Hi folks,

I've ran in to a bit of an issue with my exterior soil pipe. I've had to remove the old one as we're having porcelain tiles and as such, the manhole and soil pipe (for the kitchen waste) needs to be raised.

My plan was to just buy a longer length of soil pipe, but the old one seems to be an odd diameter (5.5") rather than the standard 4" available everywhere. It looks like it was a larger diameter but has been cut down the side to fit it in.

I can't seem to find this size pipe anywhere and I can't think of a way of extending the old one without using a load of mastic - but that seems to be unnecessary and messy.

I'm sure there's an easy solution for this, I just can't work it out with my tiny brain!

Thanks in advance for any advice.

It depends what you're measuring. Outside or inside measurements
